Everything you need to know before you install.
No. Calculating, saving and printing all work offline. Internet is only used once to activate a license (or never, if you activate offline with a code from us), for a small license check, and to look for a newer version, each about once a day when you happen to be online.
About once a day, when you are online, the app checks whether a newer version exists and shows a notice in the sidebar. Nothing installs until you read what changed and click Download and install. Updates carry our digital signature, and the app refuses anything that does not. You can turn the automatic check off in Settings and still check by hand any time. Your products and license stay as they are.
The free version has every feature but keeps up to 3 products (each can have many sizes). The full version removes that limit. Nothing you saved in the free version is lost when you upgrade.
A license works on up to 2 PCs. Bought a new computer? Email us and we will move it for you.
